Safeguarding children is of paramount importance to us and as such our recruitment process criteria ensure children are protected. We also make certain our staff are fit, knowledgeable, sympathetic and patient with children. We operate to a very high ratio of well-qualified staff, acknowledging the requirement of OFSTED. Staff knowledge and training in the supervision of our children and in working with the children is of prime importance. In addition to our regular internal training and development programmes we established a good training base with the local authority, ensuring that our staff are kept completely up to date with childcare and management issues along with any changes in childcare legislation.
Staff Training Days:
'There are three staff training days and the nursery will be closed. This allows use focus on planning and regrouping. These are one day each in January, April and September.
